PDF Dost (Android package: my.pdftoolkit.app) is provided by Techworldguide, operated by Kapil ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains how we handle information when you use PDF Dost.
PDF Dost processes PDF documents, images, and other supported files locally on your device to perform the operations you request, including viewing, merging, splitting, compressing, and converting files. We do not upload your documents, their contents, or document passwords to our servers for processing.
You do not need to create an account or sign in to use PDF Dost.
PDF Dost does not automatically collect or transmit personal information to us. The app does not include advertising, tracking, analytics, or third-party crash-reporting SDKs. Through the app, we do not collect advertising identifiers, unique device identifiers, usage histories, or document contents.
The app accesses and processes files on your device when you select them or grant access for a requested operation. This local access does not send files to us.
PDF Dost accesses selected documents, images, and storage to open files, process them, and save results. Android may ask you to grant permission or select a file or save location. You can manage permissions in your device settings. If you deny or revoke access, the related file operation may not work.
If you choose a cloud-backed file location through Android or another app, that provider handles its storage and transfers under its own privacy policy.
We do not sell, rent, or share documents or personal information collected through the app with advertisers or data brokers.
If you share or export a document using another app or service, the recipient you choose receives it. How the recipient handles it afterward is governed by the recipient's practices and privacy policy.
Google Play, Android, your device's backup services, and websites you visit, including the website hosting this policy, operate separately and may handle information under their own privacy policies.
When you email us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, message, and attachments. We use it to respond to your request and resolve the reported issue. Please avoid sending sensitive documents or passwords unless needed for your request.
Our email service provider handles support correspondence. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or a valid legal request.
